What Does My Babies Star Academy Do Best?

Family Involvement

Parents are viewed as partners in their children's early education. Parents are encouraged to call and visit the learning center throughout the day, volunteer in the classroom, and participate in educational and family activities

Our Approach to Childcare

Our sole purpose is to change our world by bringing the best quality of care to the sacred work of caring for and shaping our children, our families, and our communities.

Our curriculum follows Early Learning Standards adopted by the North Carolina Department of Instruction. It has been custom designed for My Babies Star Academy by a child development specialist to enhance all facets of a child, including cognitive, physical, social/emotional and language development.

Children participate in activities that are developmentally appropriate and meet their individual needs and interests. They will learn from active involvement with selected educational and culturally diverse materials, and through planned activities and direct interaction with the environment and our staff.

Outdoors is considered an extension of the classroom. All children are taken outdoors daily (weather permitting) allowing them to participate in a balance of activities: active and quite play, free play, small group, or individual play.

  • A warm, nurturing environment for young children.
  • Smaller staff/child ratios that allow more time for interaction.
  • Developmentally-appropriate practices.
  • Interactions and activities that are designed to develop a child’s self-esteem and positive feeling toward learning.
  • Better social skills in children.
  • Active, hands-on curriculum.
  • Strong foundation for school readiness.
  • Strict health and safety policies.
  • Dedicated, well-trained staff.
  • Peace of mind for parents.
